- Many universities have international study abroad or exchange programs. Programs can last from a few weeks to several months to over a year. Programs can include coursework, language study, internships, research, guest teaching, on-site training, etc. Check with your university’s international office for details. A popular program for Americans is Fulbright (http://www.iie.org/fulbright) and one for Australians is ACICIS (http://www.acicis.murdoch.edu.au/), but these are not the only options for studying or working in Indonesia.
